- INTRODUCTION
The Space Gold features a Muonionalusta meteorite dial plated in 18k rose gold, highlighting the natural Widmanstätten pattern. Formed over millions of years as the asteroid’s core cooled and crystallized, each dial’s organic texture is unique and cannot be replicated.
Formex uses an electroplating process that takes advantage of the meteorite’s high iron content to apply real gold, unlike standard PVD coatings. The dial feet are soldered directly to the meteorite, allowing for a beveled date window—an iconic design of the brand. This innovation was achieved through extensive prototyping at the Swiss Jura facility.
Limited to 100 numbered pieces, each watch is powered by a COSC-certified Swiss Automatic movement. It features Formex’s patented Case Suspension System and a carbon fiber folding clasp with a fine-adjustment system for a perfect fit.

All Essence straps and the bracelet can be changed by hand without the use of tools. The carbon fiber composite folding clasp with patented fine adjustment system can be changed without tools and can be used for all Essence ThirtyNine leather straps.
